I joined Dr. Nuger in 1994 as the office manager. Starting as an is x-ray certified and a licensed qualified dental assistant I have a vast knowledge of all aspects of the dental field. For the past 20 years I have had the role of office manager in charge of the day to day operations of the practice.
Roles include being responsible for all our staff positions, hiring new staff, day to day scheduling, and overseeing the front desk operations of both offices. This requires the control of the appointment books, the billing and all of the insurance.
You would speak with me assisting the front desk staff dealing with more detailed billing and insurance questions. Being familiar with all of the dental plans that our practice participates with, if you are changing plans or acquiring a new dental plan, please feel free to call for advice.
Being well versed in the field of dentistry, I am happy to help you with any decisions regarding treatments or insurance. You can reach me at 410-766-4650 or e-mail at Cheryl@marylandfamilydentistry.com
When not in the office, I am busy with my children and grandchildren. I also enjoy beeding and loving my chihuahuas.
I have been in the dental field for over ten years. Over these years, I have had extensive training in general, pediatric, and endodontic dentistry. As the main front desk receptionist for the Glen Burnie office, I perform many tasks, such as scheduling appointments, filing insurance claims, and assisting our patients with treatment and insurance benefit questions. In my spare time, I love creating vibrant floral arrangements for weddings, birthdays, and holidays.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of Maryland in May 2007 and started working for Drs. Nuger and Sircus in August of that same year. I love working with our patients and look forward to developing friendships with each one. As a hygienist, my goal is making sure our patients achieve optimal oral health through regular dental cleanings, fluoride treatments, as well as education on oral health and home care. My husband’s name is Jon, and we have five wonderful children. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, photography and spending time with my family!
I am one the full time hygienists in our Columbia office. I graduated with honors and have over thirty years experience in the dental field. As a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, I annually attend continuing education classes, taking many advanced training classes in periodontal therapy. I have exceptional patient skills focused on oral hygiene treatment and care, as well as preventative management. I maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where my patients feel comfortable and always provide my patients with efficient, quality dental treatment. In my free time I like to tap dance, spend time with family, friends and my daughters Jessica and Megan.
I have been practicing Dental Hygiene since 2000. I absolutely love what I do. Some of the treatments includes: prophylaxis, scalings, debridements, and perio maintenance to give my patients a great pearly smile. I’m an advocate for educating my patients about the importance of proper oral healthcare and effective home care. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, especially my nine year old son, mountain bike riding, dancing, and sometime just a quiet evening reading and doing puzzles.
As a graduate of West Liberty State University in 1991, I have truly enjoyed my career of dental hygiene. I joined Drs. Nuger and Sircus four years ago and love getting to know our patients and treating them with TLC. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, friends, and two spoiled yorkies.
Hey guys! I’ve been a part of the team here at Maryland Family Dentistry since 2014. I graduated from Baltimore City Community College with a degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist. I love my job and my patients! Before going back to school for my degree completion, I worked as a Certified Orthodontic Technician in Crofton, MD for 15 years. I enjoy learning new concepts and being educated on how to care for the oral cavity while maintaining the highest quality of care. Besides filling my day with patient care, I enjoy spending time with my children and husband. We love the great outdoors! Hiking, biking, swimming, camping and traveling are just a few fun activities that we include in our time together. I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.
I have had the pleasure of working with Drs. Nuger and Sircus as an expanded functions dental assistant since 2013. I have been in the field for quite some time. As our offices floating dental assistant, I have a wide range of duties. You can find me anywhere from assisting the doctors chairside, working hands on in our lab, or answering calls and helping patients at the front desk. In my spare time, I enjoy being outside with family and friends.
I joined Drs. Nuger and Sircus in October 2003, since then I have seen many great changes and additions to our office and staff. Assisting the doctors to serve our patients with a variety of restorative and cosmetic procedures continues to be a career I am proud of. When not in the office (or commuting to and from) I can be found enjoying time with my family and friends. My husband, daughter and I love serving with our church, playing soccer together, and traveling.
